The Best Healthy Recipes which we made today.

Posted by Unknown
My friend called me up yesterday and said he is coming over to my house. It had been a while since we met and so there were a lot of things to talk about. And it was already 7 pm, so I knew he will stay around for dinner. So I grabbed few dominos coupons from here and ordered a pizza with some sidings.
An hour later, we were sitting in my living room when the doorbell rang, It was the dominos delivery boy. I paid the bill and called my friend over to the dining area. And the moment he saw the pizza with all the cheese on it, he said “Oh! I forgot to tell you. I'm following a strictly healthy diet nowadays.”

“I don't have anything else to eat”, I said. But he was too determined not to break his new year resolution.
So we headed over to the kitchen and I asked him to make himself a healthy meal. “I am definitely eating the pizza”, I said.
I was surprised how he came up with some healthy meal out of whatever I had in the kitchen. And so I want to publish that today, just in hope that someone else will get inspired with it like I was.

The Bean & Pumpkin Burger

Ingredients:
·         1 cup full of black beans
·         1/3 cup full of pumpkin pieces
·         1 tbsp. whole wheat flour
·         ¾ tbsp. Cumin
·         ¼ tbsp. Garlic powder
·         ¼ tbsp. Chili powder
·         All other things that you need in a burger: Burger Buns, Ketchup, Onions, Tomatoes, Cheese, Spinach Leaves, etc.
Directions:
Mix the beans, pumpkin, flour, cumins, garlic & chilli powder. Create a puree by using a mixer or simply in a bowl using your hands. Some beans may get left behind, never mind those.
Make patties out of the mixer. If you have gone with my measures, you should be able to get 2 patties.
Spray some olive oil in a large skillet and cook the patties for 5-10 minutes on medium heat. Then turn and cook the other side for 5-10 minutes as well till they are lightly brown in color.
That's it! Your burger patties are ready.
Lay some spinach leaves, tomatoes, onions and cheese on those burger buns. Put your patty in it. And you have one healthy meal ready.
I ate just one burger and  mostly munched on the pizza that evening. But I so wish we had more of those. I am sure going to try that again.
